About Me
About me, well, let's see. We can start with my age. I have celebrated a few anniversaries of my 29th birthday, but I don't look like it. I am an office manager and bookkeeper at a law office. I married my high school sweetheart Nathan after 8 and a half years of dating - proving I am one patient woman. Nathan owns his own excavation business. We experienced unexplained infertility with our first child. We ended up at a fertility clinic on experimental cancer drugs and on our last shot before IVF and I finally saw those two pink lines! 9 months later Noah Atlee came out with fury and hasn't slowed down yet (he came too fast for drugs or anything - that wasn't pleasant). We started trying for our second child when Noah was one and it took 7 months, but we were able to conceive on our own! That would be the only easy thing with this pregnancy. This time I experienced morning ALL DAY sickness until week 14, bleeding at week 17, and then ended up having to have an emergency c-section due to a prolapsed cord (her cord was hanging out below her head) and velamentous insertion of the umbilical cord (her cord was not connected to my placenta properly) both conditions having a high rate of still birth. It was one of the scariest days of my life, but God protected us and brought our daughter Ryan Maelynn into this world with no problems! The doctors and nurses could not believe how perfect she was with such his risk problems. Now, we are a perfect family of four and are trying to balance out everything to make the best memories possible. This blog was started as a way for me to keep up with some memories and for my family and friends who do not live close to be able to watch our kids grow! I also throw in a few topics that I feel like talking about every now and then. Enjoy!
